 Welcome to the official website of the Monrovia Police Department! We hope you find the information on this site useful in learning more about our department, its mission, and the resources that are available to you the community member.

Our department has a great tradition of innovation and service. We have been recognized by national and international organizations for our community policing programs, which have been useful in helping to improve the quality of life for people living and working in our community. As you view our website, you will find out more about programs, such as, Community Activist Policing, Neighborhood Partnerships, Anti-Truancy, High Risk Offenders, Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE), Parenting Workshops, Stop Gun Violence Bounty, Safe City Safe Campus and many more.
As part of our strategy for success, we continue to build strong alliances with city departments; local, state, and federal agencies; private business; as well as individual community members. These relationships have provided a strong foundation from which we have been able to solve many problems affecting our community.
